Chapter Meeting

Kansas case law regarding insurance policy cancellation provisions presented by Matthew A. Spahn, Attorney with the Wichita law firm of Martin Pringle

02/09/16 10:30am to 12:00pm

Our February meeting will be at Larkspur Restaurant, 904 East Douglas, Wichita, KS, starting at 11:30 for networking and announcements; lunch at noon. Please RSVP by noon, Monday February 8.

The speaker will be Matthew A. Spahn, Attorney with the Wichita law firm of Martin Pringle.  Matt specializes in insurance company defense work.  His presentation will be current Kansas case law regarding insurance policy cancellation provisions.  He recently argued a case on behalf of Foremost Insurance Company at the trial court level and won; the plaintiff has appealed to the Kansas Court of Appeals. By the time of our meeting the matter will be fully briefed, so Matt will be able to discuss the current legal consequences of the rulings.  This is a subject of great interest to our members, so we expect a good turnout.

We will have information on future meeting dates, I-Day and the June golf outing at the meeting.  The chapter website will be updated with this information and more so please check wichita.cpcusociety.org regularly.

Larkspur menu options are: Cobb Salad, Turkety Club or Old Town Steak Burger.  Please RSVP with lunch preference to me or your company representative by noon, Monday February 8th.  See you at the meeting!
